I’m Cora - nice to meet you!

My philosophy is “listen first, then design, then test.”

I understand the importance of learning, listening, and empathizing with my end users. I enjoy analyzing user research to create solutions that are intuitive, important, and engaging. My toolkit includes several tools for developing and testing designs. I’m proficient in using Figma, Axure, and Balsamiq for wire framing and prototyping. I also have strong frontend coding expertise in HTML, CSS (including Bootstrap), and JavaScript. I’m passionate about discovering and implementing new technology. For example, I recently learned and completed a project using Attention Insight, which uses AI to rapidly test websites for clarity and effectiveness.

Over the past two years, I’ve cultivated my design skills through education and professional practice. One recent highlight was co-creating website redesign concepts for a non-profit organization. I led the information architecture testing, which informed recommendations for an updated navigation menu and site map. I also conducted competitor analysis and created mockups to inform a high-fidelity prototype. Through this project, I honed my leadership and collaboration skills by working with a remote, cross-functional team.
